Originally created for issue #16 of A Good Little Girls zine. The theme was In Defiance. With this work, I aimed to express what defiance looks like for me as a Black woman outside of struggle, toil, and fight. For me, a big part of defiance is remembering my ancestors and what they taught me. 8x10 standard print size, signed.
