Originally created for issue #16 of A Good Little Girls zine. The theme was In Defiance. With this work, I aimed to express what defiance looks like for me as a Black woman outside of struggle, toil, and fight. This one is inspired by a recent dream I had of Black women enjoying leisure uninterrupted, outside of the male and white gaze.
